On September 4, a delegation from the School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, including Party Secretary WANG Jianan, Dean YANG Piaoping, Vice Deans WANG Jun and LI Junqing, Deputy Party Secretary LIU Dongping, and Assistant DEAN Zhu Kai, visited Shuangdeng Group Co., Ltd. to conduct research on enterprise visits for internship opportunities, university-enterprise collaboration, and alumni exchanges.

Accompanied by YANG Rui, Chairman of Shuangdeng Group, Vice President ZHONG Yihua, and several alumni, the delegation toured the company's production facilities and corporate culture exhibition hall. They were briefed on Shuangdeng's development history, industrial layout, and innovative achievements. ZHONG Yihua introduced the group's efforts in technological R&D, product application, and market expansion in the new energy sector. Both parties reached a consensus on enhancing collaborative postgraduate training, increasing joint applications for research projects and awards, and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

During the discussion with recent graduates, the delegation learned about the work experiences of six alumni who joined the company this year and collected their feedback on the school’s curriculum design, internship programs, laboratory facilities, and innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

The delegation also attended a briefing session on Shuangdeng Group’s listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the inauguration ceremony of Shuangdeng’s Global R&D Headquarters (Zero-Carbon Industrial Park) project.
