On September 23, Beijing Zhongnong Weilai Technology Co., Ltd. formally signed a donation agreement with the Harbin Engineering University（HEU）Education Development Foundation, contributing one million yuan to bolster student innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. GENG Jing, Assistant to the University President, attended the donation ceremony. LAN Hai, Party Committee Secretary of the College of Intelligent Science and Engineering, and LIU Zhijun, Deputy Director of the Development and Liaison Office, were also present. The event was presided over by XU Baogui, Deputy Party Committee Secretary of the College of Intelligent Science and Engineering.

GENG Jing expressed gratitude to Beijing Zhongnong Weilai Technology Co., Ltd. for their support of HEU’s educational endeavors. She stated that the donation reflects the company’s confidence in the university’s educational outcomes and signifies profound expectations for the cultivation of future talent in science and technology. She hopes this event will serve as a starting point for both sides to enhance collaboration in scientific research, talent development, and graduate employment, achieving mutually beneficial progress.

ZHANG Fei remarked that Harbin Engineering University has made significant contributions to China’s shipbuilding industry, nuclear industry, national defense modernization, and economic and social development, establishing itself as a high-level research university. The company will leverage its platform and resource advantages to support young students in innovation and entrepreneurship, jointly contributing to the intelligent upgrading of the agricultural sector.
