
On October 12, CNOOC held a special campus recruitment presentation for the 2026 graduating class at the Multi-Functional Hall of the Qihang Activity Center, Harbin Engineering University (HEU). The event was attended by over 40 recruitment representatives from 10 subsidiary units of CNOOC. Key attendees included YIN Jingwei, President of HEU; WANG Zhangling, Chairman of Offshore Oil Engineering Co., Ltd. (COOEC); and CHEN Hailong, Assistant to the President of HEU.

President YIN Jingwei emphasized that CNOOC plays a vital role in ensuring national energy security and has significantly contributed to the country’s energy supply, economic growth, and social development. He highlighted the shared vision between HEU and CNOOC on national strategies, such as marine national construction and energy security, and expressed optimism about further collaboration. President YIN expressed hope that students would leverage the platform provided by CNOOC to realize their potential and contribute to national development in their future careers.

In his address, Chairman WANG Zhangling acknowledged HEU’s status as a key talent and research hub for shipbuilding, marine equipment, ocean exploration, and nuclear energy application. He noted that HEU graduates possess outstanding qualities and solid professional expertise, making significant contributions to CNOOC’s success. The recruitment drive covers a wide range of fields, including Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering. Chairman WANG encouraged more graduates to consider CNOOC as the foundation for their careers and to dedicate their talents to safeguarding national energy security.

During the presentation, XUE Shihui, General Manager of the Engineering Project Branch of COOEC, delivered a keynote speech on CNOOC’s development, business sectors, and talent policies.

The event was also attended by representatives from HEU’s Career Guidance Center, as well as faculty and students from various departments.
