On October 27, a delegation of seven from Northwestern Polytechnical University, led by Vice President CHEN Fulin, visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU). HEU Vice President ZHAO Yuxin attended the symposium. The two sides held discussions and exchanges on topics including the development of digital teaching platforms, AI-empowered education, and the 15th Five-Year Plan for educational digitization.

CHEN Fulin expressed that HEU, oriented towards national strategic needs, has conducted fruitful explorations in areas such as “AI+” educational reform, achieving outstanding results. These provide valuable experience for Northwestern Polytechnical University in exploring innovative practices for applying artificial intelligence in education and teaching. He expressed hope that both institutions would further strengthen ties, learn from each other, deepen cooperation in talent cultivation and scientific research, and contribute more significantly to national education development.

ZHAO Yuxin stated that in recent years, HEU has been comprehensively advancing the digital transformation of education, actively exploring paths in “AI+” program upgrades and digital teaching platforms. He hoped that the two sides would draw upon each other’s strengths in areas like AI-empowered education and smart campus construction, accelerate digital transformation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of digital education.
