Recently, the Society of China University Journals announced the results of its 2025 annual evaluations. A total of four achievements from the Journal Press of Harbin Engineering University (HEU) were selected, spanning four categories: Young Scientists Fund Project, Video Abstract Case, Academic Monograph, and Editor’s Personal Case. This recognition highlights HEU’s strong capabilities in the field of scientific and technological journals.
The Society of China University Journals plays a vital role in guiding and evaluating the scientific and technological journal work at universities across the country. Its annual evaluations aim to promote the high-quality development of university-based journals. Among the selected achievements, HEU’s Young Scientists Fund Project, titled Research on “Three-Dimensional Empowerment” Talent Training and Career Development of Young Editors for Building World-Class Scientific and Technological Journals, received approval. In the 2nd China University Scientific and Technological Journal Construction Demonstration Case Database • Golden Key/Silver Key/Copper Key Video Abstract evaluation, the video abstract Understanding Einstein’s “Four-Factor Theory” as the First Principle Governing Human and Machine Cognition, submitted by CAAI Transactions on Intelligent Systems, won the “Silver Key Case” award. Additionally, the editorial paper Reflections and Practices on Scientific and Technological Journal Editors Writing Editorial Papers, co-authored with the Editorial Department of CAAI Transactions on Intelligent Systems, was selected for the Bronze Pen Monograph demonstration case database. ZHANG Yan from the Journal of Harbin Engineering University (English Edition) was also honored with inclusion in the Editor’s Personal Demonstration Case Database.
