On December 22, M’hamed Aisati, Global Vice President of Elsevier, and his delegation visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU). Vice President YU Zhiwen met with the guests.


YU Zhiwen presented an overview of HEU’s development history, educational features, and disciplinary development. He noted that Elsevier has provided strong support in academic resources and data analysis, and expressed hope for establishing a long-term, stable, and mutually beneficial partnership to bolster the university’s pursuit of becoming a distinctive world-class institution.

M’hamed Aisati stated that Elsevier and HEU share broad prospects for cooperation. He expressed willingness to further deepen collaboration by supporting HEU’s discipline development, talent cultivation, scientific research, and international cooperation through platforms such as the Scopus database and PURE Global Scholar Profile, aiming for shared success through mutual learning.
Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including disciplinary advancement, faculty development, scientific research, international collaboration, and the development of a world-class university.
