On December 28, the Comprehensive Cooperation Exchange and Signing Ceremony between Harbin Engineering University (HEU) and Dongcheng Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. was held. YIN Jingwei, President of HEU, and YOU Shouyi, Chairman of Dongcheng Pharmaceutical Group, attended the event and delivered keynote speeches.
In his remarks, YIN Jingwei noted that HEU remains committed to its core “SMON” fields, closely aligning with national strategies and industrial needs. The university has cultivated a large number of high-quality professionals for China’s nuclear sector and achieved a series of significant scientific research outcomes. In recent years, HEU has proactively expanded into emerging interdisciplinary areas such as nuclear chemical engineering and radiopharmaceuticals, promoting the transformation of traditional nuclear disciplines toward applications in health care. He emphasized that HEU and Dongcheng Pharmaceutical Group have already established a solid foundation for cooperation in scientific research and talent cultivation. YIN expressed his hope that both sides would fully leverage their respective strengths to carry out comprehensive and in-depth collaboration in radiopharmaceutical research and development, industrialization, and related fields, thereby injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of China’s nuclear medicine industry.
YOU Shouyi stated that Dongcheng Pharmaceutical Group is dedicated to enhancing China’s radiopharmaceutical R&D capabilities and innovation capacity. Guided by the principle of collaborative development with HEU, the company has achieved notable results in joint talent cultivation, research collaboration, and the transformation of scientific achievements. He expressed his expectation that this signing would serve as a new starting point for both parties to consolidate their advantages, deepen cooperation, accelerate the industrial application of HEU’s research in radiopharmaceuticals, promote the high-quality development of the industry, and deliver greater benefits to society.
Following the speeches, YIN Jingwei and YOU Shouyi jointly unveiled the plaque for the Joint Research Center for Radiopharmaceutical and Medical Isotope Technology. CHEN Hailong, YOU Sai, and representatives from HEU’s College of Nuclear Science and Technology signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of the university and the enterprise, respectively. Through this center, both parties will integrate HEU’s strong scientific research capabilities with Dongcheng Pharmaceutical Group’s extensive industrial application resources, focus on key core technologies in nuclear medicine, explore innovative industry–university–research–application pathways, and provide strong support for the high-quality development of China’s nuclear medical industry.
