On April 16, the inaugural ceremony of the provincial training base of the Heilongjiang Academy of Technology Managers was held in the Sunshine Hall of the Qihang Activity Center at Harbin Engineering University (HEU).

YIN Jingwei, President of HEU; ZHANG Zhe, Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology; HE Yefang, Head of Songbei District; WANG Tao, Head of Daowai District; Ren Hailong, Head of Nangang District; and WANG Rang, Deputy Head of Pingfang District, jointly unveiled the base.

Technology managers serve as a crucial link between innovation chains and industrial chains, providing essential talent support for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements. Operating under the guidance of the provincial department of science and technology, the training base will form a faculty team comprising national industry experts, university professors, and renowned entrepreneurs. Targeting professionals working in science- and technology-related sectors across the province, as well as current students, the base will adopt a training system tailored to different industries, stages, and levels. The goal is to accelerate the development of a multidisciplinary talent pool of technology managers who understand technology, industry, capital, markets, and management, thereby facilitating the transformation of more research outcomes into viable enterprises and industrial applications, while fostering new productive forces tailored to local conditions.

Looking ahead, the training base is expected to inject fresh momentum into the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements in Heilongjiang Province, serving as a key hub for cultivating technology managers and contributing to the province’s high-quality revitalization and development.
