The First Annual Academic Conference of the Digital-Intelligent Innovation Management Branch (In Preparation) under the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics was held at Harbin Engineering University (HEU), centred on the theme “Paradigm Transformation of Innovation Management Driven by Digital-Intelligent Integration”.
YIN Hang, Vice President of HEU; GUAN Zhongcheng, Chairman of the Chinese Society of Optimization, Overall Planning and Economical Mathematics; and WANG Xiufeng, Deputy Director of Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Data, delivered opening addresses.
YIN Hang stated that HEU attaches great importance to the development of economics and management disciplines, advancing interdisciplinary integration through top-level design and internal quality improvement. The conference serves as a high-end exchange platform for nationwide experts, facilitating cross-industry collaboration to advance integrated digital technology and innovation management theory, and bolstering the National Innovation-Driven Development Strategy and Digital China initiative.
GUAN Zhongcheng noted the society’s mission to build premium academic platforms and foster innovative research. He urged the new branch to expand its academic influence and address frontier research priorities to better serve major national strategic needs.
WANG Xiufeng highlighted fruitful existing cooperation between Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Data and HEU, calling for deeper industry-university-government-research collaboration to provide theoretical support and intellectual resources for high-quality digital economic growth across Heilongjiang and the whole country.
The keynote session featured presentations by Academician WANG Shouyang of the World Academy of Sciences, Professor CHEN Kaihua from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor ZHANG Ziqiong of Dalian University of Technology, Associate Professor LI Lefei of Tsinghua University, and YAN Zhe, General Manager of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Marine Engineering Design Co., Ltd.
Six special forums and seven parallel paper sessions were arranged to discuss cutting-edge topics in digital-intelligent innovation management. Editors of journals including Management Revue, Chinese Journal of Management Science and Project Management Technology introduced journal positioning and submission guidelines. Over 50 preparatory committee members attended the offline and online branch founding meeting to discuss long-term development plans.
