XU Chunye, General Manager of Anhui North Microelectronics Research Institute Group, Leads Delegation to HEU for Research Visit

On 27 August, XU Chunye, General Manager of Anhui North Microelectronics Research Institute Group Co., Ltd., led a seven-member delegation to Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for a research visit. The two sides held a symposium focusing on scientific research cooperation, talent training and other related matters. YIN Jingwei, President of HEU, attended the symposium, and Vice President HAN Duanfeng was also present.

YIN Jingwei extended a warm welcome to XU Chunye and the delegation. He noted that HEU has actively expanded its layout in fields such as integrated circuits and microelectronics in recent years, and has achieved positive progress. Anhui North Microelectronics Research Institute boasts profound accumulation in areas including semiconductor integrated circuits, special devices and sensors, and has made significant contributions to scientific and technological innovation and industrial development. He expressed the hope that the two sides would further deepen and broaden cooperation, jointly tackle key technologies in directions such as special underwater integrated circuits, integrated application of underwater acoustic microelectronics and intelligent sensors, bid for major national tasks, and strengthen joint talent training, so as to make new and greater contributions to national development.

XU Chunye stated that Anhui North Microelectronics Research Institute is a comprehensive microelectronics research institution and an integrated research-production enterprise group with the most complete range of professional disciplines and the richest platform resources in China’s microelectronics field. It is committed to building a world-class micro-nano manufacturing platform and an integrated microelectronics industry base. HEU, with its distinctive disciplinary features, is an important base for talent training and scientific research in the “SMON” field. He hoped that both sides would take this visit as an opportunity to deepen university-enterprise cooperation, leverage their respective resource advantages, focus on intelligent sensors, brain-computer interfaces, integrated circuits and other directions, promote disciplinary development, pool efforts for collaborative research, and jointly cultivate talents, thus contributing to high-level scientific and technological development.

At the symposium, the relevant person in charge of HEU’s College of Integrated Circuits briefed the delegation on the college’s development. The two sides also conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics including underwater intelligent sensors and core chip technologies for marine and naval equipment.
