On September 5, Harbin Engineering University（HEU）held a conference on innovative development marking the 25th anniversary of the E-Vision Association. YIN Jingwei, president of HEU, attended the conference and delivered concluding remarks. ZHAO Yuxin, vice president, attended the conference. YANG Yunchun, dean of the School of Integrated Circuits, DAI Jinsheng, executive vice president of the Alumni Association of the College of Information and Communication Engineering, and CHEN Xiaobo, chairman of the E-Vision Alumni Association Working Committee, attended the conference.
YIN Jingwei noted that the “E-Vision-affiliated” alumni enterprise matrix is an innovative exploration of industry-education integration between the university and alumni enterprises. Forming a team of innovation and entrepreneurship mentors and establishing the E-Vision Development Fund are powerful measures for mutual empowerment and win-win cooperation. Looking ahead, the university will fully support the high-quality development of alumni enterprises, and expects alumni enterprises to give full play to their industrial and technological advantages, engage in deeper and broader cooperation with the university, and jointly advance the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talent.

E-Vision alumni representatives YU Xinlong, WANG Aobo, ZHOU Hanwen and others presented flowers to LIU Zhigang, former president of HEU, WEI Yi, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee, CHEN Wanhai, dean of the College of Information and Communication Engineering, WANG Songwu, former director of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and E-Vision Association instructors LIU Wenzhi, LI Haibo, YE Xiufen, PANG Yongjie and WANG Wenzhi, in recognition of their long-term care and support for the association’s development.
Relevant leaders of the College of Information and Communication Engineering / College of Integrated Circuits delivered a keynote report, introducing the association’s distinctive measures and achievements, and outlining plans and prospects for the association’s high-quality development and improved quality and efficiency in science and innovation education.
Instructor representative LIU Wenzhi, alumni representative WANG Tian, and student representative LI Chenji spoke in turn.
CHEN Xiaobo said that the new working committee will carry forward the association’s original aspiration for innovation, build a high-quality platform for university-enterprise collaboration, alumni connectivity and resource sharing, deepen alumni services, unite alumni strength, and push the E-Vision Association to a new level in the integrated and coordinated development of education, science and technology, and talent.
First Batch of “E-Vision-Affiliated” Alumni Enterprise Matrix Members
Representatives of the first batch of 13 “E-Vision-affiliated” alumni enterprises jointly took the stage to release the “E-Vision-affiliated” alumni enterprise matrix.
The conference held an appointment ceremony for innovation and entrepreneurship mentors, and ZHAO Yuxin presented letters of appointment to the mentors.
Launch Ceremony of the E-Vision Development Fund. The fund’s first-phase committed total scale is no less than 15 million yuan, mainly used for the construction of the Joint Research Institute for Intelligent Underwater Robots, the empowerment of student science and innovation practice at E-Innovation Space, and the construction of an alumni economic ecosystem.
The E-Vision Association was founded in 2001. It is a university-wide student science and technology association initiated by the College of Information and Communication Engineering of Harbin Engineering University. It has cultivated more than 20,000 alumni and has won 6 world championships, 30 national championships, and more than 240 international and national awards.
