On September 9, HU Peijun, Director of AECC Shenyang Liming Aero-Engine Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for research. SONG Yingdong, Party Secretary of HEU, met with the guests in the VIP Reception Room on the eighth floor of the Administrative Building, and LI Rongsheng, Deputy Party Secretary, attended the symposium.
SONG Yingdong stated that HEU’s aerospace discipline has a long history, and over the past five years, the proportion of graduates entering the aero-engine and related fields has ranked among the top in the country. AECC Liming is a core force in the independent development of aero-engines, and the cooperation between the two sides has a long history and broad prospects. He expressed the hope that both sides will focus on key core technologies of aero-engines, jointly carry out scientific research tackling, collaboratively cultivate top-notch innovative talents, and together inject strong momentum into the leapfrog development of the aero-engine industry and high-level scientific and technological development.
HU Peijun noted that AECC Liming has always focused on the independent research and development of aero-engines, continuously made breakthroughs in multiple key technologies, and formed solid accumulations in fields such as advanced manufacturing, material processes, and system control. HEU has a profound educational foundation and outstanding scientific research strength, and has long provided the enterprise with a large number of high-quality graduates, becoming an important support for the enterprise’s technological tackling and industrial development. He expressed the hope that both sides will focus on frontier technologies and common challenges in aero-engines, jointly undertake major scientific and technological projects, collaboratively cultivate high-level engineering talents, and together contribute wisdom and strength to national development.
At the university-enterprise exchange symposium, LI Rongsheng said that he hopes both sides will establish a regular exchange and collaboration mechanism, innovate the industry-education integration model, deepen exchanges in areas such as joint talent cultivation, collaborative scientific research, and internships and practice, and jointly explore new paths for the independent cultivation of top-notch talents in the aero-engine field, so as to better serve the country’s major strategic needs.
The director of HEU’s Employment Guidance Service Center introduced the university’s overall situation, and the deputy chief engineer of AECC Liming introduced the enterprise’s overall situation. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on future cooperation directions.
