On 23 September, the 2nd Heilongjiang Communist Youth League Service for Youth “Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Creation” Cultivation Base Featured Achievement Exhibition, alongside the 16th HEU Science and Innovation Carnival, was held at Orekhov Square. ZHOU Chenggang, Secretary of the Communist Youth League Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, and YAN Huan, Deputy Secretary of the committee, visited and guided the event. SONG Yingdong, Secretary of the Party Committee of HEU, and LI Rongsheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of HEU, accompanied the visit.

The exhibition features four major themed zones, bringing together over 150 student sci-tech innovation works from more than 20 universities, vocational colleges and primary/secondary schools across the province, attracting wide participation from the public and the university community.

As the first “Four Creations” cultivation base in Heilongjiang, HEU has continuously explored work in curriculum guidance, project cultivation, achievement display, technology docking and industry connection, promoting the convergence, flow and sharing of provincial sci-tech innovation resources.
The Inter-university Exchange Zone, the centrepiece of the exhibition, gathered innovation teams from universities across the province to exchange creative ideas and explore R&D practices across institutions.

The Disciplinary Feature Zone, structured around “Five University Domains” with three supporting sections, “Theory Foundation, International Intelligence Gathering, and Culture-Engineering Integration”, displayed physical prototypes, research models and demonstration devices.

The College of Aerospace Engineering presented student-designed aviation works such as fire-fighting drones, with interactive games to showcase innovative design methods.

The College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering demonstrated applications of acoustic vibration instruments in ultrasonic atomisation and ultrasonic glasses cleaning, and hosted a prize quiz on underwater acoustic science.

The College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering showcased post-disaster visual search-and-rescue robots designed for earthquake-hit areas.

The College of International Education displayed a model of the “Xuelong 2” polar research icebreaker, using the model to popularise knowledge of ship design, polar icebreaking and oceanographic research.

Various sci-tech competition societies, student start-ups and key laboratory projects made concentrated appearances with rotating demonstrations:

The TRIZ Invention and Innovation Association presented integrated drone operation support equipment for extreme cold environments, compatible with dual-configuration disaster relief drones.

Chuangmeng Zhiyi Technology Society showcased wheel-legged balanced infantry robots, hero robots, dart systems and intelligent nuclear power inspection robots.

Shendu Technology Student Company launched an eight-thruster integrated underwater observation and inspection robot for complex underwater environments, equipped with binocular vision cameras, mechanical claws and sonar modules.

Yunsu Technology Co., Ltd. displayed high-voltage line resident inspection drones.

HEU Competitive Robotics Society presented multi-modal complex-terrain robots for material transport and pick-and-place tasks.

The “Taoxue Penguin” campus parade kicked off alongside polar science popularisation, introducing knowledge of Antarctic ecology and marine conservation. Cutting-edge sci-tech creations from Heilongjiang universities were paired with fun, adorable penguin-themed science outreach activities.
