On 15 October, WANG Liwen, General Manager of CRRC Qiqihar Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., led a five-member delegation to visit Harbin Engineering University (HEU) for research. LI Rongsheng, Deputy Party Secretary of HEU, met with the guests in the VIP meeting room on the 8th floor of the Main Building. The two sides held in-depth discussions on talent training, scientific research, and graduate recruitment.

LI Rongsheng noted that CRRC Qiqihar is a leading design and manufacturing enterprise and product export base for railway freight cars and railway cranes in China, serving as a backbone player in the rail transit equipment manufacturing sector. He expressed hope that the visit would deepen bilateral cooperation in talent training, scientific research and platform development, jointly supporting the high-quality development of the rail transit equipment industry.

The company attaches great importance to talent development and technological innovation. He spoke highly of HEU’s distinctive disciplinary strengths and well-recognised talent training quality, expressing hope that the two sides would take this exchange as a new starting point to carry out practical cooperation in graduate recruitment, internship and practice base construction, and joint research on key technologies, to achieve win-win university-enterprise development.

Following the meeting, the delegation held a 2027 campus recruitment executive presentation at the Faculty Salon of the Qihang Activity Centre. They engaged in face-to-face exchanges with students majoring in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science and related disciplines, covering the company’s development history, industry prospects, job requirements and career growth pathways.
