Achievements:

Advanced Energy Materials and Electrochemistry Research Groupis led by “LongjiangScholar”, overseas academic leader Professor Dianxue Cao. Since its establishment in 2006, its research focus encompasses advanced electrode materials for chemical power sources such as lithium-ion batteries, fuel cells, supercapacitors, and so on. It was awarded “12th Five-Year Technology Pioneer Group” and “Xinghai Research Group” by HarbinEngineering University.

Advanced Energy Materials and Electrochemistry Research Group have 10 faculty members. Prof. Cao and Prof. Wang wereawarded to Highly-Cited Researchers 2016 by Thomson Reuters. Prof. Cao was ranked Chinese Most Cited Researcher by Elsevier in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Associate Prof. Ye was selected for theFoundation forYoung Key Teachers by Harbin Engineering University.

Since its foundation, the group has published more than 200 SCI papers, among which 10 papers are selected as ESI 1% highly cited articles. 24 patents have been authorized and 4 of them were licensed to the industry. The group won 3Heilongjiang Province Science & Technology Process Awards (1first class, 1 second class and 1 third class). The group has been financially supported by more than 30 scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key projects of the Heilongjiang Natural Science Foundation, the Jiangsu Science and Technology Support Project, and so on. Over 100 students have obtainedMaster or Doctor degrees.
