On June 25, China Engineering Education Accreditation Association announced that a total of 422 majors in colleges and universities across the country have passed the engineering education accreditation.

The three majors of HEU including electronic information engineering, chemical engineering and technology, optoelectronic information science and engineering are on the list. The accreditation is valid for 6 years (January 2022 to December 2027)

At present, HEU has a total of 21 engineering majors that meet the basic requirements for accreditation.

Under the active promotion of HEU, all majors that meet the conditions have applied for engineering education certification, and the application rate has reached 100%。

Till now,17 majors have passed the accreditation with a passing rate of 81%

This year, experts will visit HEU and carry out inspections on the majors of energy and power engineering, detection, guidance and control technology and underwater acoustic engineering and other majors.
