In order to further strengthen international exchanges with Thai senior high schools and build up high-quality students bases, HEU held a round-table forum for Thailand senior high school principals on April 14 with the theme of “jointly build the Belt and Road and promote win-win education. YAN Rujian, a member of the Standing Committee of HEU Party Committee and Vice President, met with visiting guests.
YAN Rujian, on behalf of HEU, warmly welcomed the guests who participated in the forum. He said that 2023 is the 10th anniversary of President XI Jinping’s "the Belt and Road" initiative. HEU attaches great importance to educational cooperation and talent cultivation with ASEAN countries represented by Thailand. Since 2004, HEU has actively promoted educational cooperation and exchanges with Thailand and has signed cooperation agreements with 9 Thai universities, 6 career colleges, and 24 senior high schools. So far, more than 3000 Thai students have studied in HEU.
Mr.Sarayut Rattanapanya, Director of Suankularb Wittayalai Thonburi School, stated in his speech that this is his fourth time coming to HEU. He is very excited to return to the familiar school and see his old acquaintance. In April of this year, Suankularb Wittayalai Thonburi School has sent three groups to study in HEU, including the Chinese Teacher Improvement Class, Artificial Intelligence Class, and Chinese Learning and Improving Class. HEU’s high-quality teaching level and comprehensive software and hardware facilities have left a deep impression on teachers and students.
With the theme of "jointly building the Belt and Road and promoting win-win education", the forum conducted discussions and exchanges around talent training, teacher training, curriculum design and other aspects, and signed project cooperation agreements with 9 senior Thai high schools. The forum achieved fruitful results, laying a solid foundation for further promoting the deepening and implementation of bilateral education cooperation.
