On May 11th, LI Shaoyuan, a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, and a delegation of four members came to HEU for research. YAN Rujian, a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Vice President of HEU, attended the symposium.

YAN Rujian welcomed the visit of Qingdao University of Science and Technology and briefly introduced HEU's historical evolution, scientific research, and educational layout. YAN Rujian also introduced the educational characteristics of Longjiang Engineering Institute, and he hoped that both sides could strengthen cooperation and exchange, communicate closely, and jointly explore the training system for outstanding engineers.

LI Shaoyuan briefly introduced the current development, educational characteristics, and disciplinary characteristics of Qingdao University of Science and Technology. He stated that the exploration of talent cultivation of HEU has provided valuable experience for the construction of the Engineering Institute of Qingdao University of Science and Technology. He hopes that the two universities can strengthen communication and cooperation in the cultivation of outstanding engineers, graduate teaching, and other aspects to help each other and achieve development on both sides.

During the communication session, the head of Longjiang Engineering Institute gave a report on the cultivation of outstanding engineers. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on future cooperation.
