On May 9th, Ren Nan, Vice President of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, visited HEU for research. ZHANG Shimei, a school leader, attended the symposium.  

ZHANG Shimei welcomed the delegation from Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and briefly introduced the historical evolution, scientific research and school characteristics of HEU. She pointed out that the two universities have a deep historical origin, similar characteristics, and close communication and cooperation. She also hopes that the two sides could strengthen cooperation and exchange, and explore further development for the high-quality and high-level talent cultivation of the school.

Ren Nan briefly introduced the history and profile of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. She said that the two universities have close ties, and HEU has provided excellent talent for Jiangsu University of Science and Technology. She hopes that the two universities can strengthen undergraduate talent cultivation, establish a normalized cooperation mechanism, help each other and seek common development in the future. During the exchange session, the person in charge of the undergraduate college briefly reported on the talent cultivation situation of undergraduate students, and the two sides had in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, education, and teaching cooperation.
