On May 13th and 14th, HEU National Engineering Laboratory of Modeling and Simulation for E-Administrative affairs held the inaugural meeting of the new academic committee and the second council in Qihang VIP conference room. During the meeting, HEU has signed contracts with 14 domestic co-construction units in the field of digital technology and digital government. YU Zhiwen, the vice president, attended the meeting.

YU Zhiwen extended gratitude to the experts, scholars, and representatives of co-construction units for their care and support to National Engineering Laboratory of Modeling and Simulation for E-Administrative affairs. He said that in recent years, HEU has targeted the development needs of the country, industry, region, accelerated the promotion of the layout of digital economy fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and accelerated the construction of National Engineering Laboratory of Modeling and Simulation for E-Administrative affairs. He hoped that the co-construction units of the laboratory would continue to strengthen their complementary advantages, give play to their early accumulation and technical advantages in the field of digital modeling and simulation, face ecological data governance, and build an efficient data governance service platform. He also hoped the participating units would promote the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, create a digital industry cluster with international competitiveness, and make greater contributions to accelerate the promotion of  national and regional digital economy construction in China.

HEU President YAO Yu was elected as the chairman, HEU vice president Yu Zhiwen was elected as the standing vice chairman, and Professor MENG Qingguo from Tsinghua University, President ZHONG Kai from Tai Chi Computer Co., Ltd., and CAI Chengtao, Dean of  HEU College of Computer Science and Technology were elected as the vice chairman.
