WANG Mengzhen, a master's student at HEU's School of Information and Communication Engineering, has won the Best Student Paper Award at the 2023 China Microwave Week. A total of five Best Student Papers were selected.

Wang's winning paper is entitled "Polarization-Selective Fishbone-type Coded Metasurface", which proposes a new type of metasurface unit to achieve polarization-selective beam coding control in the ultra-wideband range of 10-20 GHz, providing technical reserves and hardware solutions for the integration of 6G communication perception.
