On July 25th, the finals of the 9th China International "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Heilongjiang Division, commenced at HEU. Over 100,000 entries from universities in the province registered for the competition, with 2,985 projects qualifying for the provincial competition. After expert evaluation, 489 projects advanced to the provincial finals roadshow. This competition emphasized the integration of specialized creativity and service in cultivating top innovative talents. It featured forums on innovation and entrepreneurship education and exhibitions of achievements in innovation and entrepreneurship education. Moreover, it focused on promoting the integration of industry and education for regional economic and social development, with industrial propositions set up and an excellent project promotion meeting for innovation and entrepreneurship held.

The competition was hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, and HEU, along with Heilongjiang Vocational College and Harbin Normal University, undertook the organization. CHENG Shuang, Deputy Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, and GAO Wanxin, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. The opening ceremony was presided over by ZHAO Yuxin, Assistant to the University President and Dean of the School of Intelligent Systems.

The forum fully leveraged the role of universities as a community of education, science and technology, and talent, in-depth promoting reform and innovation in innovation and entrepreneurship education, and exploring new paths for cultivating innovative talents.
