On August 4th, Academician Jin Donghan, President of Tianjin University, accompanied by Vice President Wang Tianyou and a delegation of five individuals, visited the university to conduct organized scientific research. In the conference room of the main building, a meeting was held where Yao Yu, Vice Secretary of the School Party Committee, and Yan Rujian, Vice President of the Party Committee's Standing Committee, welcomed Academician Jin Donghan and his delegation.

Yao Yu highlighted the noteworthy accomplishments of Tianjin University in areas such as talent cultivation, scientific research, and international collaboration.
