Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the Notice on the Third Batch of "National University Huang Danian-Style Teacher Team" Demonstration Activities. Our university's Extreme Marine Environment and Ship Mechanics Teaching Team successfully made the cut.

Currently, the team has become a key force in the first-class discipline of Ship and Ocean Engineering and an important support for the construction of the university's national "Double First-Class" discipline in Ship and Ocean Engineering. The team consists of renowned scholars such as ZHANG Aman, DUAN Wenyang, YAO Xiongliang, and NI Baoyu from the College of Shipbuilding Engineering.

The team has established the Unified Bubble Equation, achieving significant innovations in the field of cutting-edge fundamental research. They have also created the world's first numerical wave tank, realizing autonomous control of ship and hydrodynamic software, and providing assistance in the autonomous design of high-tech ships. In addition, they have established the Ministry of Education Frontier Science Center, the Ministry of Education Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation in Ship and Ocean Engineering Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology International Joint Research Center for Ship and Ocean Engineering Mechanics, and the Innovation Center for Complex Dynamics and Control.
