On August 31st, Harbin Engineering University hosted a donation ceremony for its Education Foundation at the Qihang Activity Center. During the ceremony, nearly 30 enterprises, alumni, and individuals collectively donated over 30 million yuan. GAO Yan, HEU’s Party Secretary, was in attendance, while Vice President HAN Duanfeng presided over the event.

GAO Yan emphasized the university's commitment to transparent and responsible use of these donations. Every contribution will be utilized efficiently to create tangible educational outcomes. With a focus on its core mission of nurturing ethical and talented individuals, the university aims to become a valuable resource for our country, producing exceptional graduates and delivering education that meets societal needs. GAO Yan also stressed the importance of building platforms for communication and collaboration, encouraging alumni and friends from diverse backgrounds to exchange development insights, expand opportunities, and celebrate shared achievements.

Furthermore, GAO Yan personally presented donation certificates to representatives of all donors and participated in group photos with them.
