On September 2nd, the inaugural "Red Wave" Forum on Information and Communication Innovation and Development within the G7 was hosted at the Qihang Activity Center. Vice President YU Zhiwen extended his congratulations to the forum and extended a warm welcome to the leaders from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as the secretaries and deans representing various universities in attendance.

He emphasized that this forum represents a practical step toward accelerating the development of a top-tier discipline with a focus on national defense and industrial and information characteristics. In the afternoon of the 2nd, a pivotal segment of the forum took place, which included the launch of the "Red Wave" project and a talent training exchange meeting. All members affiliated with the "Red Wave" project were in attendance.
