On October 13, the CCTV-News live team visited Harbin Engineering University (HEU) at the 2023 World Marine Equipment Expo. HEU showcased a range of innovative models, including the "Wukong" deep-sea Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV), which set a world record for deep diving. This AUV is the only product in China to have obtained the CCS type approval certificate. Additionally, they exhibited the three-redundant dynamic positioning system (DP3), known as "Dingchuan Shen Zhen," and underwater unmanned vehicles (UUV) with various sizes, global submersion capabilities, diverse functions, and versatile applications. HEU's scientific research achievements garnered the attention of CCTV.
The 2023 World Marine Equipment Conference, held in Fuzhou from October 12 to 15, is a prestigious industry event known for its high-level, high-energy, and high-quality nature. It featured the Ten Years Achievements Exhibition for the New Era and the World Marine Equipment Expo. Harbin Engineering University was one of the exhibitors, and HEU's school leader, Gao Yan, actively participated in the conference.

Among the 25 significant achievements displayed, HEU's contributions were prominently featured in the professional discipline section, emphasizing the university's capabilities, construction milestones, and outstanding accomplishments in undergraduate and graduate talent development, integration, scientific and technological innovation, and more.
