On November 28th, the talent recruitment event for universities in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao took place at HEU. The primary objective was to establish a platform fostering talent connections and technological cooperation between the university and Qingdao, thereby enhancing collaboration and exchange.

Vice President YAN Rujian from our university graced the event, accompanied by officials from relevant departments, heads of several colleges, and student representatives. YAN Rujian, during the event, provided insights into the distinctive features of our university and its current state of basic research. He underscored the significance of close collaboration between our university and the region, expressing a desire for sustained cooperation in the development of advantageous disciplines, industry-academia-research collaboration, and the practical application of research achievements.

LIU Luying presented an overview of the talent attraction environment in the new area, emphasizing the West Coast New Area's national strategic mission. He highlighted the remarkable economic and industrial development performance of the new area.

Simultaneously, on the same day, the West Coast New Area of Qingdao organized a campus-specific job fair at the Sunshine Hall of the Qihang Activity Center. The fair featured nearly 70 key enterprises offering over 2100 high-quality positions, with on-site recruitment by state-owned enterprises. Representatives from these organizations engaged in face-to-face discussions with our university students to facilitate talent connection and attraction.
