From December 5th to 8th, Marintec China 2023, one of the world's largest and most influential maritime events, took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. Harbin Engineering University (HEU) showcased cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in ship and ocean-related fields, featuring 36 scientific research exhibits and 59 technologies.

HEU's exhibition area, themed in prominent ocean blue, was categorized into 13 sections, including ocean development technology, advanced materials and equipment applications, unmanned ocean navigation technology, underwater multifunctional robots, ship power technology and equipment, polar equipment, vibration and noise prediction, and evaluation technology, active control technology for vibration, ship structure monitoring system, key technologies of large cruise ships, ship digitization, intelligence technology, and biomimetic vehicles.

Vice Minister of MIIT, XIN Guobin, and his delegation, accompanied by the Secretary of the Party Committee of HEU, GAO Yan, visited the HEU booth to observe the display of scientific research achievements.

This time, HEU's booth was the largest in its history, featuring over 100 carefully organized teachers and students participating in the exhibition. The booth also showcased outstanding scientific and technological innovation works by students, drawing significant attention. To date, hundreds of professionals have visited and exchanged ideas at the HEU exhibition booth.

HEU's scientific and technological achievements were showcased prominently at the maritime exhibition, featuring the "Xinghai 1000" polar unmanned submersible with the national flag, active control technology for seat vibration, ship structure monitoring system acting as a "personal doctor" for China's first ten-thousand-ton patrol ship, vibration and noise prediction and evaluation technology for sea-launched rockets, and the underwater inspection robot for large-scale underwater equipment maintenance.
