On December 11th, the inaugural ceremony for the National "Outstanding Young Graduate Mentor Incentive Fund" took place in Shanghai. Among the 20 recipients nationwide, Professor Zhang Arman from the College of Shipbuilding Engineering at HEU was honored.
Professor Zhang Arman's research focuses on underwater bubble dynamics and fluid-solid coupling dynamics. He has garnered numerous accolades, including the National Innovation Award, Scientific Exploration Award, National Technology Invention Awards Second Prize, National Science and Technology Progress Award Second Prize, National Teaching Achievement Award Second Prize, inclusion in the Global Top 2% Scientists List, recognition as a Chinese Highly Cited Scholar, and four First Prizes at the provincial and ministerial levels.
After 18 years of dedicated exploration, Professor Zhang Arman developed the Unified Equation of Bubble Dynamics, addressing the prediction challenges related to bubble dynamics characteristics across different sources, scales, and environments.
Throughout his two-decade teaching career, Professor Zhang Arman has mentored over 60 doctoral students and more than 40 master's students. A significant portion of his graduating doctoral students now teach at "Double First Class" universities or those with discipline evaluations at Class A. Additionally, several of his doctoral students have evolved into national leading talents and youth leaders.
