To comprehensively advance HEU's internationalization efforts, the English websites for all 21 teaching and research units of HEU have been launched as of December 31, 2023.

The construction of these English websites occurred in two batches. On July 31, 2023, led by the International Office with technical support from the Information Technology Office and active cooperation from various colleges, the first batch of English websites went online. This batch includes the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, the College of Power and Energy Engineering, the College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, the College of Underwater Acoustic Engineering, the College of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, the College of Mathematical Sciences, the College of Physics and Optoelectronic Engineering, the College of Nuclear Science and Technology, the Qingdao Innovation and Development Base, the Yantai Research Institute, and the Nanhai Institute of HEU.

The second batch, which includes the College of Aerospace and Civil Engineering, the College of Computer Science and Technology, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the College of Information and Communication Engineering, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Foreign Studies, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the College of Marxism, the Physical Education Department, and the College of International Cooperative Education, all went online by December 31, 2023.

Each teaching and research unit's English website mainly covers sections such as an overview of the college, program introductions, faculty profiles, research achievements, introductions to key laboratories, international cooperation, international admissions, news, etc. These sections aim to present the school's image and achievements from various perspectives, providing a more comprehensive display of the school’s academic accomplishments and research outcomes to the international community.
