On December 22nd, the academic seminar on "2023 Multi-source Detection and Information Fusion Processing" in the field of Information Retrieval and Processing took place at HEU.

The event, organized by the Department of Information Science of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, had HEU as the host. The seminar unfolded at the Navigate Activity Center Teacher Salon. Notable attendees included Associate Researcher HE Jie from the Information Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation, Deputy Director LIU Aili from the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province, and YIN Jingwei, Vice President of HEU. The opening ceremony was presided over by ZHANG Ling, the Director of the Information Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation.

In his address, YIN Jingwei expressed gratitude to the National Natural Science Foundation and the Science and Technology Department of Heilongjiang Province for their longstanding robust support for the school's development and construction. He encouraged young teachers to seize this seminar as an opportunity to concentrate on the cutting-edge academic directions of information retrieval and processing technology. Furthermore, he urged them to actively engage in learning and exchange with renowned experts and scholars present, broaden their perspectives, and contribute intellectual support for the high-quality development of science and technology in the field of information retrieval and processing.

This academic seminar featured three main topics: multi-source detection, intelligent information, and processing of multi-modal remote sensing.
