On March 7th, CHEN Su, Director of Heilongjiang Province's Department of Science and Technology, along with his team, visited HEU to conduct research and gain a comprehensive understanding of HEU's achievements transformation and technological innovation. The symposium was attended by HEU Party Secretary GAO Yan and Vice President YAN Rujian, with Vice President YIN Jingwei presiding.

CHEN Su praised HEU's accomplishments in technological innovation and talent development, urging the university to leverage its research and talent cultivation strengths further. He encouraged HEU to continue its efforts in innovation and achievement transformation while enhancing school-enterprise collaboration and refining mechanisms.

GAO Yan expressed gratitude to the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Department of Science and Technology for their consistent care and support towards HEU's development. He emphasized HEU's location in Heilongjiang and advocated for its active integration into the province's new development framework, thereby becoming a pivotal force in facilitating the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China.

HEU will drive comprehensive reform, focusing on establishing high-level talent training centers, industry-education integration hubs for collaborative innovation, and advanced technology achievement transformation centers. Concurrently, it will enhance mechanisms for technological innovation and achievement transformation, as well as the capacity of teachers and students to contribute to societal service and Heilongjiang's revitalization. HEU aims to facilitate the realization and transformation of more remarkable achievements while attracting exceptional talents to remain in Heilongjiang.

During the meeting, YAN Rujian presented HEU's operational characteristics, measures to serve Heilongjiang, and other essential information. Both sides engaged in detailed discussions on promoting scientific and technological innovation and the transformation of research outcomes.
