The Conclusion of the Final Round of the 14th National College Student Market Research and Analysis Competition for Graduate Students

On May 18th and 19th, HEU hosted the final round of the 'Zhengda Cup' 14th National University Market Survey and Analysis Competition for Graduate Students. Out of 4,716 teams representing 392 universities nationwide, 150 teams advanced to the national finals after a rigorous selection process. Following intense competition in both the group stage and public rounds, Tianjin University of Finance and Economics, Guizhou University, and Harbin Engineering University claimed the championship, runner-up, and third place respectively.

The competition, organized by the China Business Statistics Society, saw HEU as the host institution. On May 18th, the opening ceremony was attended by ZHANG Daliang, Vice President of the China Association of Higher Education and former Director of the Department of Higher Education at the Ministry of Education, as well as ZHAO Yuxin, Assistant to the President of HEU, alongside other leaders and guests. The ceremony drew over a thousand attendees, including leaders from relevant university departments, 40 judges, and all participating teachers and students.

ZHAO Yuxin delivered a welcoming address on behalf of the organizing committee of the final competition for graduate students. In his speech, he briefly outlined the university's characteristics and cultural heritage, emphasizing HEU's commitment to fostering learning and exchanges with partner universities and enterprises to provide a broader platform for stimulating innovation and entrepreneurship among college students in the new era.

During his address, ZHANG Daliang expressed his hope that participation in such events would underscore the crucial role of discipline competitions in nurturing independent and innovative talents. He urged efforts to create a new hub for talent cultivation, mobilize teachers' and students' enthusiasm for discipline competitions, and promote the integration of production and education. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to enhance the digital empowerment competition platform's quality and leverage the professional skills showcased in market research competitions, aiming to establish a leading zone for digital construction.
