Vice President YIN Jingwei Leads Delegation for Research and Idea Exchange at Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences

On May 21st, Vice President YIN Jingwei led a delegation to visit and exchange ideas with the Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. SHEN Jia, the President of the Heilongjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, along with Vice Presidents LAI Yongcai and others, attended the symposium.



YIN Jingwei provided a brief overview of HEU's development history, educational characteristics, and the basic situation of disciplines such as machinery, electronics, remote sensing, data, and intelligence. He highlighted the university's research and technological foundation in areas such as embryo rice processing, smart farming, and digital agriculture. He expressed hope for the establishment of mechanisms for scientific research, project support, and talent cultivation through this research and connection, aiming to promote in-depth cooperation in the field of intelligent agricultural machinery.

SHEN Jia briefly outlined the Academy of Agricultural Sciences' research areas, team building, and successful experiences in scientific and technological promotion. He expressed a desire for Harbin Engineering University and the Academy of Agricultural Sciences to exchange and incorporate each other's research achievements. They aimed to align their technological demands in fields such as digital agriculture, artificial intelligence, new-generation information technology, and robotics, identifying focal points for technological innovation. This would lead to in-depth cooperation in technological innovation, achievement transformation, talent cultivation, and innovation platform construction.

During the meeting, Professor LI Bing and Professor XING Xianglei from the College of Intelligent Systems Science and Engineering, Professor TAN Dingzhong from the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Associate Professor CANG Yan from the College of Information and Communication Engineering, Associate Dean QIN Dapeng from the College of Computer Science and Technology, and Professor XU Jiangtao from the College of Aerospace and Civil Engineering each delivered special presentations.
