China General Nuclear Group Corporation Visits HEU for Research and Exchange

On May 21st, a delegation from China General Nuclear Power Group Co., Ltd., led by Zhou Jianping, a member of the Party Committee of China General Nuclear Power Corporation and Vice President, visited HEU for research and exchange. They conducted in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, technological innovation, and cooperative exchanges. Vice President YIN Jingwei of HEU attended the symposium.

YIN Jingwei emphasized that HEU is actively promoting the integration of engineering master's and doctoral programs into enterprises, aiming to strengthen the "community of mission" for collaborative talent cultivation between universities and enterprises. He hoped that both sides could deepen and expand existing cooperation areas, conduct platform-based and systematic cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and platform construction, in order to cultivate outstanding innovative talents for the industry, support enterprise technological innovation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of China's nuclear energy utilization.

ZHOU Jianping highlighted that China General Nuclear Power Group has deep roots in exchanges and cooperation with HEU, and the university has achieved fruitful results in scientific and technological work. He expressed hope that, based on the existing cooperation foundation, both sides could further leverage their advantages in nuclear power, new energy, nuclear fuel, nuclear technology, digitalization, and other fields. He emphasized seizing development opportunities, expanding the scope of cooperation between the university and enterprises, promoting collaborative research on key core technologies, and making new and greater contributions to the cause of nuclear power.

During the meeting, the head of the College of Nuclear Science and Technology introduced the basic situation of the university's nuclear discipline and presented constructive suggestions on research cooperation directions and modes.
