The 10th Chinese Traditional Culture Festival Hosted by HEU.

Recently, HEU hosted the 10th Chinese Traditional Culture Festival and Arts Performance. 

ZHANG Shimei, Deputy Secretary of the HEU Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech. Following her speech, the performance commenced. At its conclusion, students from various ethnic groups such as Han, Miao, Dong, Tujia, Tibetan, and others showcased a splendid "Chinese Traditional Clothes" show in traditional attire. The audience responded with continuous enthusiastic applause, reaching a peak of excitement.


Before the performance, the Sunshine Hall of Qihang Center featured an exhibition of traditional Chinese culture. This exhibition encompassed ten areas including Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan, Central Plains, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Ningxia, and the three northeastern provinces. Students from diverse backgrounds presented their distinctive national foods and traditional clothing, enriching the cultural experience for all attendees.

Over 200 delectable dishes delighted taste buds and fostered closer bonds among students from different regions and ethnicities.

The cultural exhibition also included displays of ethnic musical instruments, handicrafts, and trials of traditional clothing. Visitors had the opportunity to explore Oroqen roe deer head hats, Hezhe fish skin paintings, Miao pendant necklaces, Zhuang brocade, embroidered balls, bronze drums, Nixing pottery, and wax hanging paintings. These exhibits provided a deeper understanding and appreciation of the unique cultures across various ethnic groups and regions.
