Recently, the 2024 edition of "The Blue Book of Data Resource Productization Practice," compiled by HEU's National Engineering Laboratory for E-Government Modeling and Simulation, was released at the Global Digital Economy Conference. This Blue Book is set to provide crucial guidance and references for enterprises aiming to advance the practice of data resource assetization.
The release ceremony for the Blue Book was inaugurated jointly by several dignitaries: LI Changli, Vice Chairman of the Urban Construction and Environmental Protection Committee of Beijing People's Congress; TANG Jianguo, Chief Economist of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology; CHANG Yi, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Data Center Industry Alliance of China; WANG Xiaofang, Deputy Director of HEU's National Engineering Laboratory of E-Government Modeling and Simulation; and XI Qinghai, Director of the Advisory Office of HEU's National Engineering Laboratory of E-Government Modeling and Simulation.
Chief-edited by Professor YU Zhiwen of HEU, the Blue Book is divided into seven parts, covering various aspects such as the preliminary stages of data resource productization, the process pathways involved, the technical means utilized, the value applications of data products, and typical case studies of data resource productization. It encompasses topics like enterprise data inventory, governance, entry into the marketplace, and application scenarios.
Focusing on the compliance of enterprise data assets with balance sheet standards, the Blue Book emphasizes the specific application scenarios where enterprise data products empower the real economy. It underscores the development and utilization of enterprise data resources to create data products as a core objective, culminating in the realization of value from data assets. Overall, it serves as a significant guide and reference for enterprises seeking to advance the practice of data resource assetization.
