On September 25-26, the 2nd Chinese Society of Automation Doctoral Academic Exchange Conference took place in Harbin, hosted by the Chinese Society of Automation and Harbin Engineering University (HEU). Over 800 experts, scholars, teachers, and students from domestic and international research institutes and universities attended, including more than 200 participants from HEU. Six doctoral students presented their research during the event.
The opening ceremony was held at the Harbin International Conference Center on the morning of September 25, attended by President SONG Yingdong and Vice President ZHAO Yuxin.
In his welcome address, SONG emphasized that the conference serves as an important platform for idea exchange and collaboration in automation. He encouraged attendees to engage in meaningful discussions and explore new directions in automation and artificial intelligence, contributing to the advancement of the discipline and technological progress.
LI Shaoyuan, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Automation, highlighted the conference's significance in fostering academic exchange. He briefly discussed the Society's efforts to promote innovation and collaboration in the field.
The two-day conference featured multiple thematic and doctoral forums where participants shared insights on the latest research, translational applications, and future developments in automation and artificial intelligence, collectively advancing the field.
