Recently, Hebei Luanping Navigation Window Model Co., Ltd., an alumni-owned company, generously donated 60 ship models, valued at over 60,000 yuan, to Harbin Engineering University (HEU). The donation includes models of seven different ships, such as the "Liaoning Ship," "Shandong Ship," and "Fujian Ship," contributing to the development of HEU's new campus. The donation ceremony was attended by YAN Rujian, Vice President of HEU, and WAN Xiaoli, a 1978 graduate of HEU and Executive Director of Luanping Navigation Window Model Co., Ltd.

During the ceremony, YAN Rujian expressed his gratitude for the generous donation from Luanping Navigation Window Model Co., Ltd. He emphasized that alumni contributions to society are a key indicator of HEU's growth and development, noting that the university's progress would not be possible without the continued support of its alumni. He expressed hope that this donation would serve as a catalyst for further collaboration between the university and alumni, particularly in areas like scientific research and technology transfer, fostering mutual growth and success.

WAN Xiaoli provided a brief overview of his company and shared his personal journey. As a graduate of the College of Underwater Acoustics Engineering, he credited the education and training he received at HEU as the foundation of his entrepreneurial success. He expressed his hope that this donation would serve as a meaningful way to give back to his alma mater and support its faculty and students, as well as to contribute to society.

Representatives from the Logistics and Infrastructure Office, the Development and Liaison Department, and the Yangtze River Delta Institute of Higher Learning also attended the event.
