On March 11, a six-member delegation from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), led by Deputy Party Secretary LIU Yulei, visited our university for a research and exchange session. ZHANG Shimei, Deputy Party Secretary of our university, attended the symposium, where both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation and the development of “one-stop” student communities.

ZHANG Shimei welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the university's unique approaches to talent development and its initiatives for building “one-stop” student communities. She emphasized that Harbin Engineering University (HEU) maintains a student-centered approach, actively advancing a dual-driven educational model that integrates residential and academic colleges. The university continues to enhance its comprehensive management framework for “one-stop” student communities, aiming to establish a more efficient and scientifically grounded student service system. ZHANG expressed hope that this visit would deepen collaboration between the two universities, particularly in areas such as talent cultivation and management model innovation, fostering mutual learning and shared development.

LIU Yulei praised HEU’s efforts in developing “one-stop” student communities, recognizing the university’s establishment of a forward-thinking, standardized, and replicable system that supports high-quality student education and management. He noted that NUAA is currently exploring the construction and management of a new campus. LIU expressed hope that the visit would provide an opportunity for both institutions to enhance communication, jointly explore innovative approaches to student education in the new era, and collaborate on promoting high-quality development.
Before the symposium, LIU Yulei and his delegation visited the Memorial Hall of the Harbin Military Engineering Institute and the university’s technological achievements exhibition.
The delegation was accompanied by officials from the Student Affairs Office, the Youth League Committee, and the Undergraduate School during their visit.
