On May 18, Harbin Engineering University (HEU) hosted the "2025 Annual Working Conference of the Electronics Discipline Group under the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers Consortium." Representatives from 77 universities nationwide, including Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Harbin Institute of Technology, along with experts from 34 enterprises, gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on hot topics such as "Internet + Education," "AI + Education," and "AI Literacy Cultivation."

LV Kaidong, Director of the Publicity Department, stated in his address that Harbin Engineering University has recently introduced the "Artificial Intelligence-Enabled Education and Teaching Innovation Plan." Over the next three years, HEU will establish a new AI3 talent cultivation model that integrates artificial intelligence, interactive intelligence, cross-disciplinary intelligence, and industry intelligence, further advancing the deepening and upgrading of new engineering education. He expressed hope to collaborate with experts and scholars from various institutions to explore and promote new developments in "AI + Education."

The participating experts agreed that AI currently empowers experimental teaching in four key aspects: in assessing educational outcomes, AI and other new technologies are used to profile students' individual knowledge structures, abilities, and competencies; in supporting learning, teaching, and management, AI provides targeted guidance to students; in curriculum reform, AI technologies are integrated to break the boundaries of traditional classrooms; and in methodology, students are guided to use AI tools appropriately and ethically to solve problems.
