To advance the integration of artificial intelligence throughout higher education, the Hei Longjiang Provincial Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education Teaching Innovation Symposium was held in Harbin on July 16. Hosted by the Hei Longjiang Provincial Department of Education, Vice President ZHAO Yuxin attend the inauguration ceremony of the “Hei Longjiang Undergraduate Digital-Intelligence Education Consortium” and the collective launch ceremony for “University Disciplinary Large Models and Intelligent Agents”.

On the afternoon of July 16, the “Forum on Disciplinary Large Model Construction” hosted by HEU was held at Harbin University of Science and Technology. Prominent scholars and experts in related fields gathered to explore cutting-edge developments, practical pathways, and future directions in disciplinary large model construction, contributing insights to drive digital-intelligent transformation in higher education.

SUN Meiling, Senior Editor of the Digital Textbook Publishing Center at Higher Education Press, NI Baoyu, Dean of the College of Shipbuilding Engineering, and CHEN Jingyuan, Research Fellow of the Hundred Talents Program at Zhejiang University, delivered keynote speeches respectively.

Taking this forum as an opportunity, HEU will focus on implementing the plan for AI-enabled innovation in education and teaching, build a new ecosystem of smart education and teaching, forge a new model for cultivating AI3 talents in industry-characteristic universities, and contribute Harbin Engineering’s wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of higher education in Heilongjiang and even the whole country.
